Objectives

The main objectives of this workpackage, led jointly by INSITEO and Fraunhofer Institute,  is to design the system as a whole (including Radio signal), to use on a Software Receiver for live tests and evaluate the performance and feasibility on mass market product.

Description of the works:

• Design the system (Transmitter / Receiver) taking into account the performance expected
• Adaptation of SW receiver
• Implementation of algorithms (to take into account near-far effect, acquisition/tracking algorithms and multipath mitigation)
• Elaborate a set of criteria to evaluate the system
• Evaluate the system and performance of algorithm with PL and SW receiver

Note: The system will be designed both for 2.4Ghz and E6 bands. The use of E6 band for pseudolite is subject to future ISM band regulation.






